Background
What is like Estonia’s winter capital, Otepää, cozier and quietly charming? It’s Elva. In winter, snow blankets the town and cross-country skiing trails weave through the forests. In summer, Elva transforms into a town of lakes, offering a gentle escape from the city’s hurry. Nestled beneath pine trees, the Verevi Motel is a small haven designed to slow time and invite calm.
Core Inspiration
Hayao Miyazaki’s art inspired the project’s visual direction. His style and philosophy resonate with Verevi’s values, placing nature at the center, alive and inviting, while humans move through it as part of the landscape, quietly admiring its beauty.
Concept
Our goal for Verevi Motel's social presence was to create a visually appealing and emotionally engaging solution that radiates the charm of a romantic staycation. By placing nature at the heart of the scene and showing humans interacting with it, the concept evolved into a timeless visual language, allowing us to create a visual for each month that captures the essence of every season.
